It was our privilege to be part of a Valedictory ceremony in 2019 and the refresher course from April 8-11, 2019 at CMC Vellore. 47 students attended the program from our two centres. The students who completed the course last year were given certificates during the valedictory ceremony at CMC.

Publication of Setting up Community Health Programs in LMIC

Published in March 2019 by Oxford University Press (OUP), Setting Up Community Health and Development Programmes in Low and Middle Income Countries was developed by the founders of CHGN UKC and others within the cluster have also been involved. It is written in simple English and it covers a wide range of health-related priorities that communities identify. OUP is publishing an Indian edition which will be virtually the same but considerably cheaper and easier to get hold of. You can get it on Amazon as a book, or on Kindle. And if that doesn’t work for you each chapter that looks relevant can be downloaded free onto your smart phone, notebook, laptop or PC by pressing on “Open Access” on the OUP link.

10 year celebration of CHGN - UKC

In 2018 CHGN UKC celebrated its 10 year anniversary. We thank God for all he has done through the network and we also acknowledge the contribution of each member of the network. God is faithful but His work in the Cluster is not yet finished. We move into the next 10 years and seek His guidance in what we should do together.
